Grayson Hoffman

Grayson "Tater" Hoffman, 90, of Frederick, MD died peacefully at his home on Wednesday, April 29, 2016. Beloved husband of Olivia A. Hoffman. He was born February 16, 1926 to the late Ida and Walter Hoffman. Tater was the last immediate member of the Hoffman family and enjoyed growing up with many brothers, half brothers and half sisters. He is survived by a step daughter, Nancy Ohler; two step granddaughters, Sheri Ohler and Susan Elardo; and three step great-grandchildren. Grayson worked as an animal caretaker at Ft. Detrick for numerous years until his retirement. Tater played guitar in local country bands, he loved the Orioles, fishing and working in his flower gardens. He was a veteran of both the US Army and Navy.

The family will be receiving relatives and friends at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick MD on Tuesday, May 3 from 5-7 pm where funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at 2 pm.
