Grace Salibi

Mrs. Grace Breidy Salibi, 44 of Frederick, MD., passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at the Frederick Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of George Salibi.
Born January 12, 1969 in Lebanon, she was the daughter of the late Georges and Janet Maalouf Breidy.
Grace was a member of Saints Peter and Paul Antiochian Orthodox Christian Church. She was a graduate of the American University of Beirut and George Mason University where she held a position of professor. Mrs. Salibi earned several degrees including her PHD. She was also a former employee of the World Bank. Grace’s most important joy in her life was that of her family. Always a friend and always there if you needed a friend, a kind and beautiful woman who loved not only her family, but life and her Lord. She brought beauty and love where ever she traveled, never meeting a stranger.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son Elias Salibi, two brothers Elie and Nicholas Breidy and sisters Andre Hammoush, Dr. Carla Slailatey and May Skaff.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 10, 2013 from 2 - 4:00 p.m. at Saints Peter and Paul Antiochian Orthodox Christian Church, 10620 River Road, Potomac, MD, where services will follow at 4:00 p.m. The family will also receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Sunday, March 10, from 7 – 9:00 p.m.
Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
