Grace Bush

Ms. Grace Ellen "Mick" Hartsough Bush, 69, of Woodsboro MD passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at the Kline Hospice House in Mt. Airy after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Born June 3, 1942 in Philadelphia, PA she was the daughter of the late William and Grace Hartsough. She was a 1960 graduate of Walkersville High School and enjoyed going to her high school alumni functions along with bowling, golfing, volleyball and playing softball. Some of Mick's favorite pastimes were duckpin bowling in the women's league at Walkersville Bowling Alley, annual family beach reunions and watching her favorite football team, the Redskins, with her family.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Carol Bush Tressler and her companion, Howard Sparkman, grandsons, Dale Allen Tressler, Jr. and wife Brandy and David Willson Tressler, and great grandson, Austin Dozier. She is also survived by her sisters, Roberta Greenfield (Dick, deceased), Cecelia Stottlemyer (Scotty), Fran Phillips (Jerry), Susie Martin (Danny), and her brother, Bill Hartsough (Nila). She loved her many nieces and nephews, Terry Greenfield (Susan), Patrick Greenfield (Shannon), Richy Greenfield (Nicole), RJ Baker , Scott Baker (Desiree), Laura Lewis (Charlie), Nikki Keeney, Kari Phillips Kripe (Chris), and Sheena Hartsough.

The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 40 Fulton Ave., Walkersville, MD on Saturday, October 15, 2011 from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. A memorial service will begin at 1:00 p.m. with the Rev. Dahl Drenning officiating.
