Gordon Miltenberger

Mr. Gordon L. “Hank” Miltenberger, 85, of Mt. Airy , died on Friday July 15, 2011 at Lorien Mt. Airy. He was the husband of Dolores A. Miltenberger.
Born on July 1, 1926 in Bridgeport , OH , he was the son of the late Dewey R. and Katherine Coss Miltenberger.
Gordon served in the U. S. Army for over 20 years during World War II, the Korean Conflict and Vietnam . He was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church , Mt. Airy .
He is survived in addition to his wife by his son, Gordon R. Miltenberger and his wife Dee of Mt. Airy. Grandchildren, Jeff R. Miltenberger and wife Camrell of Westminster and Julie A. Miltenberger of Mt. Airy . He was preceded in death by a son, Kevin L. Miltenberger, a grandson, Jim M. Miltenberger and a sister, Eleanor Finnell.
Visitation will be held from 2-4 & 7-9pm on Monday July 18, 2011 at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 8 East Ridgeville Blvd, Mt. Airy and on Tuesday from 10:00 am until 11:00am at the Calvary United Methodist Church, 403 South Main Street, Mt. Airy where funeral services will begin at 11:00am. Reverend Dennis Yocum will officiate. Interment will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery .
