Gordon B. Fisher, 80, of Frederick, MD, died on Sunday October 23, 2011. He was the only son of the late Frank and Charlotte Fisher, and is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Mary L. (Griggs) Fisher; son Michael and his wife Lorraine; son Thomas and his wife Marcia; son John and his wife Nanci; son Patrick and his wife Collise; grandchildren Sara, Laura, Hannah, Joel, Peyton, Kody, Isabella, Jamie, and Alli; great-grandchild Mya; and cousins Arlene Vitale and children.
Gordon was born July 24, 1931 in Rochester NY. He proudly served his country for 27 years serving in Tripoli, Korea, and the Pentagon before retiring in 1977. Gordon was a lifetime member of the VFW.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Gordon’s memory will gratefully be received by the ‘Wounded Warriors Project”, P. O. Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675-8517.
Relatives and friends may visit at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD on Thursday October 27, 2011 from 3-5pm and 7-9pm. Private interment will be in Rose, NY.
