Gloria Whitmore

Gloria Elizabeth Whitmore, 91, of Frederick, MD, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at Frederick Memorial Hospital.
Born on November 23, 1925 in Washington, D.C., she was the daughter of the late William Ennis and Martha Eunice (Holsinger) Ennis. She is survived by her son, Michael L. Whitmore and daughter-in-law, Susan, from Frederick; her sister, Beatrice Borra, from Hagerstown; and her brother, Cornelius (Sonny) Ennis, of Richmond, VA. She had four grandchildren, Michelle Richardson, of Simpsonville, SC, Candice Whitmore of New York, NY, Michael Whitmore Jr. of Woodbine, MD, and Jason Gum of Jefferson, MD. She had four great-grandchildren, Ashlee and Patrick Richardson, Michael Whitmore III and expecting Reese in January, and Landon Gum.
A celebration of her life will take place at 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike in Frederick, MD. Interment will be held at Union Cemetery in Leesburg, VA on November 24, 2017 for immediate family. Expressions of sympathy may be offered to the family at Stauffer Funeral Home.com.
