Mrs. Gloria J. Hollar, 71 of Jefferson, Maryland passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2013 at the Frederick Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of the late Donald Hollar.
Born May 23, 1941 in Brunswick, Maryland she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Pauline King.
Gloria was a member of the New Hope United Methodist Church in Brunswick. She was a Sunday School teacher thru out her life. She was also previously employed with State Farm.
Gloria enjoyed quilting and she was a member of the Merry Peep O'Da Quilt Club. She also worked as a volunteer by knitting baby caps for FMH.
She is survived by her three children, Donald "Gene" Hollar and wife Lisa of Brunswick, Kelli Fisher and husband Frank of Brunswick and Marci Hollar of Brunswick, three grandchildren, Jessica Anderson, Jacob Fisher and Joshua Fisher and a brother, Ernest King and wife Dorthea of Georgia.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1100 North Maple Ave., Brunswick on Sunday, May 5th from 2-4 and 7-9PM. Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 6th at 11:00AM at Faith Assembly of God, Souder Road & Route 17, Brunswick with Rev. Katie Bishop officiating.
Interment will be in Lovettsville Union Cemetery, Lovettsville, VA.
