Mr. Glenn Thomas Gincley, 60 of Frederick, MD., died Thursday, July 24, 2008 at the Frederick Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Leslie Redding Gincley, sharing 12 years of marriage.

Glenn was born December 8, 1947 in West Chester, PA, the son of Elizabeth Yatsko Frisco and the late Earl Gincley.

Glenn received his bachelor's degree from West Chester University. After serving in the National Guard he began a long career working for the U.S. Federal Government. He was employed by the United States Army Medical Material Agency first in Valley Forge, PA, and since 1974 at Ft. Detrick in Frederick, MD. He was an active member of Holy Family Catholic Community in Middletown, serving with his wife Leslie as the head of the Sacristan Ministry. He will be remembered especially for his kindness, generosity, and devotion to his family and for his accomplishments as a marathon runner and cyclist, and the pride and enthusiasm for these and al things he shared with his family. He will also be remembered for his love of gardening, talents as a craftsman, and missed as a great golfing partner.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son Gregory and three daughters Anne-Marie, Genna and Kristina, his brothers Ken and Joe and sisters Betts and Janice. He was preceded in death by his first wife Marianne Reynolds Gincley and his step-dad Joseph W. Frisco.

Visitation: The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 29, from 3 - 5 and 7 - 9:00 p.m. at Holy Family Catholic Community, 7321 Burkettsville Road, Middletown, MD.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 30,at Holy Family Catholic Community, 7321 Burkettsville Road, Middletown, MD, at 11:00 a.m. with The Rev. J. Kevin Farmer as celebrant.
