Glenn E. {Pap} Morgan, Sr.

Glenn E. Pap Morgan, Sr., 77 of Frederick entered eternal rest on April 6th, 2010 at his home. He was the loving husband of 50 years to Mary J. Morgan.

Born June 7, 1932 in Frederick County he was the son of the late Charles E. and Nellie May Baugher Morgan. He resided in Mountaindale for the past 41 years.

Glenn was a dairy farmer in Libety for a number of years, then began his career as a foreman for the Frederick County Highway Department for 30 years, retiring in 1992. In his spare time he enjoyed steam engine shows, yard sales, traveling to Tennessee, Charles Town and spending time with his grandchildren.

Besides his wife Mary, survivors include his children, Glenn E. Bo Morgan, Jr. and wife Kathy of Thurmont, Lisa Ann Crebbs and husband David, II of Frederick, Jane Marie Grimes and husband Zachary of Walkersville; five grandchildren, Amanda and Emily Morgan, David Tater Crebbs, III, Samantha Fox, and Christian Grimes; a sister, Madeline Smith of Mt. Pleasant. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Charles Ray Morgan. Glenn's family would like to give special thanks to his care giver, Kellie Smith and husband Wayne, and to Hospice of Frederick County.

Visitation: The family will receive friends on Saturday from 2 until 4 and 7 until 9 PM at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD.

Services: Services will be held at the funeral home at 2:00PM Sunday, April 11th, 2010 with Rev. John Schildt officiating. Burial will follow in Union Chapel Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be: Michael Appel, Roger Williams, Ronnie Linton, Greg Morgan, Michael Smith and Kevin Boone.
