Mrs. Glenna Joan Kozak, 50, of Jefferson MD passed away Sunday, November 4, 2012 at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. She was the beloved wife of John Kozak for 31 years.
Born February 17, 1962 in Trenton, NJ she was the daughter of the late Edward Dyer and Isabelle "Sue" Schmutz Benson.
Mrs. Kozak was an active member of New Hope United Methodist Church, Brunswick. Glenna loved being with her family and caring for her animals. She also enjoyed crafts, cooking, reading and auctions.
In addition to her husband she is survived by her two children Brianna Stiteler and husband Martin of PA and Melanie Kozak of Jefferson; grandson Owen Stiteler; brother Edward Benson, III and her sister Susan Muni.
She is predeceased by her brother Richard Benson.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1100 N. Maple Ave., Brunswick on Thursday, November 8, 2012 from 6-8 PM. A funeral service will be held at New Hope United Methodist Church, 7 S. Maryland Ave., Brunswick on Friday, November 9 at 11 AM. Rev. Katie Bishop will officiate.
Interment will follow at Park Heights Cemetery.
