Mr. Glenn Trimmer, 76 of Ellicott City, MD., died Tuesday, September 30, 2008 at Dove Hospice House, Westminster, MD. He was the husband of Martha Sprainis Trimmer.
Born October 28, 1931 in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Franklin Debow and Mary Edna Witta Trimmer.
Mr. Trimmer was a former member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Catonsville.
He served his country in the U. S. Air Force Reserves.
Prior to his retirement he was an attorney at Rollins, Smalkin, Richards and Mackie for more than 25 years.
Glenn was an avid runner, enjoyed playing tennis, exercising, and traveling with his wife and friends.
In addition to his wife he is survived by three children Holly Buckley and husband Frank of Mt. Airy, Heather Bonney and husband Allyn of Catonsville and Heidi Trimmer of Westminster. There are five grandchildren; Marley Bonney, Maggie Buckley, Andrew Buckley, Anne Buckley and Wade Bonney.
He was preceded in death by two sisters.
Visitation: The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 8 East Ridgeville Blvd., Mt. Airy, MD on Thursday, October 2, from 3 - 5 and 7 - 9 p.m.
Services:
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 3, at 11:00 a.m. from the Fairhaven Chapel, 7200 3rd Avenue, Sykesville, MD with Chaplain Wayne Larsen officiating.
Interment will be private.
