Glenn Ness

Glenn Ness, 85, of Frederick, died on Wednesday, August 8, at Frederick Health & Rehab.  Born on January 14, 1933, in Dallastown , PA, he was the son of Harry Walter Ness and Lydia Mae Eberly Ness Wolf.  He was the last of his immediate family.

He was a graduate of Frederick High School, Class of 1951.  Glenn worked as an accountant for Potomac Edison, retiring after 37 years.  Upon his retirement, he worked part time for Dinterman Janitorial Service.  Mr. Ness was a life member of Frederick County Fish & Game Club "Camp Kanawha" and was a member of the NRA.  Glenn enjoyed hunting and fishing, and won many trophies in Duck Pin Bowling.

Glenn is survived by 15 nieces, nephews and their families.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Ness was preceded in death by his siblings: Herbert Leroy Ness, Alverta Mae (John) Deller, Walter Eugene Ness and a nephew.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 18 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick.  A private inurnment is planned at a later date in Dallastown, PA.
