Born March 11, 1930 in Frederick County, son of Roger C. Davis and Violet R. Gregg.  Glenn attended Frederick County Public schools before serving 4 years in the U.S. Army, during the Korean war.  Glenn was then employed by the C&P Telephone Company for over 20 years, and later became a partner in G&G Builders, from which he retired in 1990.

Glenn is survived by his son Darwin (wife Susan), granddaughter Christina Sanders (husband Zac), great grandson Benjamin Sanders, as well as his sister, Louise Rouse (husband Paul).  He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, and his two closest friends, Harry Nusbaum and Don Leiby.

Glenn was predeceased by the love of his life, and wife of 67 years, Mildred Davis, his oldest son, Wayne Davis, and his brother, Leonard Davis.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 7 from 8:00 to 10:00 AM at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick.  A funeral service will immediately follow visiting hours at 10:00 AM in the chapel of the funeral home.  Interment will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Glenn’s name to Frederick Health Hospice, PO Box 1799, Frederick, MD 21702.
