Ms. Glenda C. Parks, 78, of Frederick, MD., passed away Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at Frederick Memorial Hospital.
Born May 21, 1935 in Baltimore, MD., she was the daughter of the late William P. and Minnie May Parks.
Glenda was fun loving and adventurous, enjoying motorcycling and flying. She loved the water, animals and exploring the countryside with her twin sister.
She is survived by her children, Stephen Sothoron and wife Julie, Kathy Hunter and husband Ken, Jeffrey Sothoron and wife Arlinda and Wendy Ubl and husband Bruce, and grandchildren Christopher, Casey, Jennifer, Matthew, Patrick, Jason, Olivia, Leah, Tara, and Sydney, and her great grandson Ollie. She is also survived by her sisters May Anderson, June Wienefeld and her twin Gail Murphy and several nieces and nephews, She was preceded in death by two sisters Carolyn and Janet Parks.
A Memorial service will be held at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Saturday, February 1, at 6:00 pm.
