Mrs. Glenda Jean Hood, 65, of Frederick, MD passed away Saturday, December 1, 2012 at Frederick Memorial Hospital.
Born July 21, 1947 in Frederick, MD she was the daughter of the late Charles Edward Roderick, Sr. and Pauline Bell Roderick.
Mrs. Hood was a graduate of Linganore High School. Prior to her retirement she worked as a switch board operator at Frederick Memorial Hospital. Glenda was a member of the Red Hat Society. She also loved gardening and taking her grandchildren to candy shops.
She is survived by her children Brian Hood and wife Kelley of Frederick and Vance Hood and wife Cathy of Hagerstown; grandchildren Randy, Jesse, Cody and Brooke.
Services will be private.
In lieu of flowers donations be made to the American Diabetes Association, 800 Wyman Park Drive, Suite 110, Baltimore, MD 21211.
