Glen Tayler

Mr. Glen Leonard Tayler, 74, of Frederick died on Saturday, June 26, 2010. He has returned home to be with his wife Marie Kennard Tayler, who preceded him in death in 2001.
Born on July 8,1935, in Salt Lake City, UT, he was the son of the late Clarence H. and Lucille L. Tayler. He married Marie Tayler in the Logan, UT temple in Aug 1959. Mr. Tayler was a Systems Analyst for the Department of Energy for more than 30 years. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the Braddock Heights Ward, serving in many capacities, including a mission from 1955-1957 in the New England states and as Bishop of the Monocacy Ward for eight years.
Glen Tayler is survived by his seven children: Ellen Garff and husband Jeff, of Chester, UT; Julie Tebbs and husband Dan, of Kirkland, WA; Lyle Tayler and wife Lynn, of Frederick; Michael Tayler and wife Christy, of Boise, ID; Scott Tayler, also of Boise; Jolynn Wolfgramm and husband Rudy, of Salt Lake City, UT; and LeAnn Evans and husband Chad, also of Salt Lake City; as well as 27 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by three brothers: Paul, Robert, and Kent Tayler. Mr. Tayler was preceded in death by his brother David Tayler.
The family will receive friends and family at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 199 North Place, Frederick, MD on Thursday, July 1, 2010. A viewing will be held at 12:00 PM and funeral services will begin at 1:00 PM. Additional services and internment will take place in Salt Lake City, UT.
