Glen Krauskopf

Mr. Glen D. Krauskopf, 55, of Frederick, Maryland, died Saturday, November 10, 2012 at his home with his family by his side. He was the loving husband of 22 years to Kim Krauskopf.
Born October 7, 1957 in Dayton, Ohio, he was the son of Dottie Krauskopf of Dayton and the late Carl Krauskopf.
Glen was a life time employee with Hughes Network Systems. He was senior director of field maintenance.
He was an avid golfer, and he enjoyed woodworking and refinishing antiques. He loved spending time with his children and his grandchildren and their many wonderful family vacations to Anna Maria Island in Florida.
His family wishes to thank Hospice of Frederick County for the compassionate care given to Glen.
In addition to his wife, Kim, and his mother, Dottie; Glen is survived by a son, David Krauskopf of Dayton, OH; two daughters, Jennifer Benson and her husband, Karl, of Dayton, and their two children, Caleb and Hailey; and Chelsey Krauskopf of Frederick; two brothers, Carl Krauskopf and wife, Jennifer, and Jim Krauskopf and wife, Theresa, all of Dayton; and a sister, Susan Goliver, and husband, Ken, of Temperance, Michigan.
Glen also will be remembered by his many co-workers that he had during his 35 year tenure of employment at Hughes Network.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at Stauffer Funeral Homes, P.A. 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD 21702. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012 from the funeral home chapel. Officiating will be Glen's longtime friend, Bob Johnston.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Frederick County, P.O. Box 1799, Frederick, MD 21702.
