Gladys E. Nicholson

Gladys E. Nicholson, 90, died Wednesday February 11, 2009, at the home of her son in Mt. Airy.
She was the wife of the late Wilfred D. Nicholson and John Allnutt.
Born on October 20, 1918, in Boyds, she was the daughter of John W. and Della E. Nichols.
Gladys retired from Montgomery County Public Schools as a Cafeteria Manager. She enjoyed playing bingo and dancing.
She is survived by son, Richard D. Nicholson and wife Lisa A. of Mt. Airy; daughter-in-law, Mary J. Bahrs of Kensington; grandchildren, David J. Nicholson (Trish) of Pompano Beach, FL, Laura J. Weihrauch (John) of Gaithersburg, Charles E. Nicholson (Candice) of Gettysburg, PA, Jennifer L. Nicholson, Michael A. Nicholson and Amy M. Nicholson, all of Mt. Airy; great-grandchildren, Andrew & Natalie Nicholson, John, Nate & Hannah Weihrauch and Hannah Nicholson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son, Donald H. Nicholson and siblings Ruth V. Lewis and Hubert L. Nichols.

Services: Graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, February 20, at Monocacy Cemetery, Beallsville. Pastor Gerald Baker and Rev. Kenneth King will officiate.
