On Tuesday, February 21, 2012 of Rockville, MD. Beloved wife of the late Arthur E. Krum, Jr. She is survived by her three children Arthur Krum, III (Stephanie), Patricia Ginalick (Matt) and Leslie Ann Ba (Papis); grandchildren Heather Dowgos, Amy McClellan, Patrick Godwin, Arthur Krum IV, Heidi Cooper, Jonathan Krum, Virginia Diaz, Luke Walker and Andrew Afoakwah; great-grandchildren Javan, Carter and Saydie Cooper, Molly, Maggie and Ben Matthews, Susannah Marshall, Fletcher McClellan, Annie Walker and Henry Diaz and her sister Frances M. Smith. She is preceded in death by her daughter Judith M. Krum. Born March 29, 1927 in Washington, D.C. she was the daughter of the late Walter W. and Gladys M. Ort Coe. Mrs. Krum worked as a secretary and travel assistant for the U.S. Government. In her younger days Gladys loved doing the Jitterbug and was an avid Elvis Presley fan. One of her favorite things was going out to eat. Gladys also loved her dogs, flowers, the outdoors, Ocean City, MD and the Redskins. She really enjoyed her weekly routine of taking her granddaughter to her doctor's appointments and going out to lunch. Interment will be at Arlington National Cemetery Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at 1 PM. Donations can be made to Montgomery County Humane Society, 14645 Rothgeb Dr., Rockville, MD 20850.
