Mrs. Gertrude Iva Camm, 87 of Middletown, MD., died Friday, April 6, 2007 at Golden Living in Frederick. She was the wife of the late Joseph Louis Camm.

Born January 14, 1920 in El Paso, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Elvy Leland and Lydia Buchanan McConkey.

Mrs. Camm was a homemaker in her earlier years and later retired as an administrative clerk from C & P. She was a volunteer for many years at F.M.H. with the Ladies Auxiliary. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Mrs. Camm is survived by a daughter, Sharon Rejonis and husband Don of Middletown and a son, John L. Cammarato of Pensacola, FL.; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Roberta Green of Montgomery, Illinois and Ruth Buesse of Galt, CA. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her sisters and brothers, Marguerite McConkey, Louise Kingdon, Leo McConkey and Lyle McConkey and a grandson, John Cammarato.

Services: Memorial services will be held at Rocky Gap Veterans Cemetery, 14205 Pleasant Valley Rd., N.E., Flintstone, MD. on Wednesday, April 11, at 2:00 p.m. with interment to follow.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be expressed to the Frederick Memorial Hospital Ladies Auxiliary.
