Geraldine Mae Starleper, 79, of Hagerstown, died Friday, June 20, 2008 at Washington County Hospital.
Born December 18, 1928 in Zittlestown, MD, she was the daughter of the late Clifford Phillip and Virgie Eleanor DeWitt Derr.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David A. Starleper, October 1, 1978.
She was a homemaker and was employed by Middletown Shoe Factory.
She is survived by three daughters, Phyllis Hoffman and Judy Myers both of Williamsport and Barbara J. Malott of Boonsboro; two sons, David J. Starleper of Hagerstown and Ronald L. Starleper of Funkstown; 10 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Charlotte Derr and Beth Ann Derr; and three brothers, Junior Derr, Mervil Derr and Richard Derr, Sr.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 24 at Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, P.A. in Boonsboro. Pastor George Snyder will officiate. Burial will be in Boonsboro Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
