Geraldine Shea, 68, of New Market, Maryland, passed from this life on Friday, March 31, 2017 in New Market.
Born on October 10, 1948, in Sparks, MD, she was the daughter of the late Raymond G. and Gladys (Tawney) Ensor.
She retired from Chesapeake Telephone Company/Verizon after 30 years of service.
Geri is survived by her husband, James C. Shea; sister, Linda Huber (Richard) of Fork, MD, brother, Richard Ensor of Ocean Pines, MD; brother-in-law, Thomas Shea; sister-in-law, Marie Shea; and many nieces and nephews.
She left behind two beloved Chihuahuas.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD.
A celebration of Geri's life journey will take place at 11 a.m.on Friday, April 7, 2017, at Stauffer Funeral Home in Frederick.
Memorial donations may be made to The Frederick County Humane Society in her memory.
