Gerald McCauley

Gerald Edward McCauley, 71, of Monrovia, Maryland, passed from this life on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at Frederick Memorial Hospital. He was the loving husband for 48 years to Nona.
Born on March 25, 1947, in Tulsa, OK, he was the son of Robert and Elizabeth (Lillard) McCauley of Frederick.
Jerry graduated from Frederick High School in 1965. He graduated from the University of Maryland in 1969 with a degree in engineering. He worked for Montgomery County Government as a civil engineer until his retirement in 2016.
He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion, Frederick Post 11, as well as a member of the Frederick Elks Lodge. One of his enjoyments in life was to attend these clubs to listen to his favorite local bands and to enjoy the camaraderie of his many friends.
In addition to his wife and parents, Jerry is survived by a son, Sean McCauley, of Washington, D.C.; his brother, Dennis McCauley and his wife, Susan, of Fairfield, PA.
