Gerald Dagenhart

Gerald Lee Dagenhart, 80, of Sharpsburg, Maryland passed away on Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at the Julia Manor Health Care Center in Hagerstown.
Born on July 13, 1930, in Myersville, Maryland he was the son of the late Lawson and Catherine (Warrenfeltz) Dagenhart.
He retired in 2000 from Hoffman Chevrolet.
Gerald was a member of the Tribe of Judah Word Ministry in Mt. Lena, Maryland.
He is survived by his wife, Bernice (Smith) Dagenhart; his children, Brenda Gabriel and Jerry and David Dagenhart, all of Sharpsburg; and his sister Kathleen Lewis of Myersville. He is also survived by five granchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Gerald was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
A celebration of life service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, October 16, 2010 at Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike, Boonsboro. Rev. Donald Kretzer will officiate. Burial will follow at Mountain View Cemetery in Sharpsburg.
Friends are invited to visit beginning at 9 a.m. on Friday, October 15, 2010 at the funeral home where the family will be present to receive friends from 6 - 8 p.m.
