Mrs. Georgia Irene Smith, 97, of Walkersville, MD passed away Saturday, November 17, 2012 at her home.  Twice married she was the wife of the late John E. Harbaugh whom she was married to for 14 years and Albert R. Smith to whom she was married to for 39 years.

Born November 20, 1914 in Creagerstown, MD she was the daughter of the late Roy Wilson and Ethel Maude Winpigler Speak.

Mrs. Smith was a long time member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Utica.  She was a faithful laborer helping her brothers on the farm.  Georgia enjoyed cooking meals and spending time visiting with her friends and family.  She also enjoyed playing cards.

She is survived by her sister Betty Perkins, of Thurmont, who was her long time caretaker; sister-in-law's Shirley Speak of Thurmont and Doris Smith of Frederick; brother-in-law's Ray Smith and Ralph Smith and wife Catherine all of Walkersville; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her brothers Lamar Speak, John Roy Speak,  Robert Lee Speak,  Roy Wilson Speak and Jesse J. Speak.

The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 40 Fulton Ave., Walkersville on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM.  A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 21 at 10 AM at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 10621 Old Frederick Rd., Thurmont, MD.  Pastor Albert K. Lane, III will officiate.

Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
