Georgia Milkes

Georgia "Ann" Milkes, 77, of Gaithersburg, Maryland passed from this life on Friday, March 26, 2021 at the Sunrise Senior Living in Frederick, Maryland. Born on July 5, 1943 as a twin with Robert Henry "Bobby" Davidson, she was the daughter of the late Marion Wesley "Jack" Davidson and Hattie Grey Crawford Davidson. She was the loving wife of the late Ardon Richard "Art" Milkes. Ann graduated from Tazewell High School in 1961.

Ann was survived by her daughter, Crystal Hernandez and son-in-law Franklin Hernandez of Mount Airy, Maryland. She especially enjoyed spending time with her beloved grandchildren, Jessie Hernandez and Adam Hernandez, also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Ann was preceded in death by her four brothers, Marion Wesley "Jr." Davidson, Emory "Jigo" Davidson, Robert Henry "Bobby" Davidson, and Samuel "Sambo" Cecil Davidson; two sisters, Nancy "Fuzzy" Moorefield Rosenbaum and Helen "Wit" Lucado; and some nephews.

Ann enjoyed visiting with family and friends, exercising, and playing tennis. She was a loving soul who thought of everyone else before herself. She had many jobs in her lifetime but her favorite was being a personal trainer. She always wanted to help everyone have a healthier life. Ann was an active member and volunteer at Church of the Redeemer in Gaithersburg, Maryland. Her love for the Lord was very strong and she was an ultimate prayer warrior!
