George W. Wilson, Jr.

April 19, 1952 — November 2, 2015

Mr. George Woodrow Wilson, Jr., 63, of Gaithersburg, MD passed away on Monday, November 2, 2015 at the Kline Hospice House, Mt. Airy, MD.

Born on April 19, 1952 in San Antonio, TX, he was the son of Theresa Caroline DeSimone Wilson and the late George Woodrow Wilson.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Rubenstein. Surviving in addition to his wife and mother are seven children: Kelly Tarr and husband Blane, Christopher Wilson, Laura Wilson, Lyn Wilson, Alex Rubenstein, Gregory Rubenstein and Andrew Rubenstein; four grandchildren: Tara Tarr, Brant Tarr, Tirza Tarr and Lexi Tarr; and a brother, Joe Wilson and wife Joyce. George will also be remembered by his former wife Denise Wilson.

George was a CPA, a visionary and a fervent information technology and business consulting professional.  In addition to spending time with his family, his true love was music. A long time guitar player, George was a huge fan of The Beatles, trying to be the best "George Harrison" possible.

A Celebration of George's life will begin at 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 7, at Stauffer Funeral Home, 8 E. Ridgeville Blvd, Mt. Airy, MD.  A reception will follow the ceremony.
