George {Joe} Lacy Simpson
June 28, 1943 — September 25, 2008
Mr. George Joe Lacy Simpson, June, 28, 1943 to September 25, 2008.
He was the husband of the late Saxon Voss Yonetz Simpson and son of the late Lacy and Oudia Simpson.
He was loved by family and respected by friends. His hobbies included fishing, trap shooting and music. He was retired from Golden Mile Liquors where he worked with family until 2007. His absence will be felt by many.
He is survived by his son Christopher S. Simpson, brother Curtis Simpson and Sisters Lillian(Pork) Marlene Thomas and Mary ( Peanut) C. Maripani as well as countless aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and in-laws.

Services: Services will be held at his home, 916 Motter Avenue, basement back door on Sunday October 5, 2:00-6:00pm. Everybody is welcome.
