George {Buck} William Owens

Mr. George {Buck} William Owens, 84 of Sweetwater, TN (formerly of Frederick) died Saturday, April 21, 2007.
Born December 24, 1922 in Chattanooga, TN he was the son of the late George Washington and Elizabeth Neil Owens.
Buck was a member of the Masonic Lodge. He was a designer and manufacturer and owned the Frederick Molding Co in Frederick for 15 years. He was a very generous man contribution to many churches throughout the years. In earlier years he was an avid hunter and fisherman and later in life enjoyed target practice, loading his own ammunition. He also loved traveling and taking day trips.
He is survived by three children Elaine McElinney, Barry Owens and Sharon Windsor, three grandchildren Cary Windsor, Christopher Windsor and Mary Ailas Wilson and the great grandchildren. Two sisters Betty Burke and Evelyn Lawson and numerous nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by a sister Bobbie Pierce.

The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Monday, April 23, from 1:00 until service time at 3:00 p.m.
