Georgeanna Bradshaw

Georgeanna Sue Bradshaw, 79, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away peacefully Thursday, September 3, 2020, at Quincy Nursing Home.
Georgie was born on August 15, 1941, in Thurmont, MD, the daughter of the late Harry R (Buck) Lewis and Catherine E. (Rhone) Lewis.
She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Rev. Joseph R. Bradshaw, retired United Methodist pastor; son, Herbert E. Ramsburg, Jr., of Hedgesville, WV; daughter, Melanie Ammons and husband, Edward, of Falling Waters, WV; daughter, Robin Miller and husband, Terry, of Slatington, PA; brother, David A. Lewis and fiancé, Donna, of Thurmont, MD; brother-in-law, Gary Alspaugh, of Mooresville, IN; grandchildren, Dalton B. Nalley, of Hagerstown, MD; Alessa Ash and husband, Jake, of Center Point, WV; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Edgar Lewis; sister, Sharon Alspaugh; and son, Eric Bradshaw.
Georgie graduated from Thurmont High School in 1959. She worked at US Silica before leaving the workforce to care for her grandchildren. She was a faithful servant to the Lord as a pastor’s wife for many years. She adored her family, holding them second only to the Lord. She never knew a stranger and people were drawn to her. She loved to sing, dance, put puzzles together and play Bingo.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Thurmont United Methodist Church, located at 13880 Long Rd, Thurmont, MD, on Friday, September 11, 2020 where friends and family may gather at 3 p.m. with a service to follow at 4 p.m. Interment will be at Blue Ridge Cemetery, Thurmont, MD at a later date.
