George Weedon

Mr. George H. Weedon, 71, of Frederick, Maryland, passed away Friday, February 12, 2016 at his home.
Born July 30, 1944 in Frederick, MD, he was the son of the late Morris G. and Minnie Bell Gilbert Weedon.
George enjoyed fishing, landscaping and painting. He was always a hard worker during his lifetime.
He is survived by his daughter Melissa Harrison and husband Juan of Frederick, grandchildren Juan, Jr. and Jailyn Harrison, his siblings Claritha Jackson and husband James, Gladys Weedon, Maurice Weedon all of Frederick, Preston Weedon and wife Jean of Brunswick and Linda Cosby and husband Tom of Indiana. Many nieces and nephews also survive. He will also be remembered by his health care provider Vickie Bowens-Sappingson and his neighbor Frank Gray. He was preceded in death by a sister Annabelle Arthur.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Saturday, February 20, from 3:00pm until service time at 4:00 pm.
Interment private.
