Mr. George T. “Tom” Sidler, 56, of Needmore , PA. , died on Friday June 4, 2010 . He is survived by his companion Karen Claypool and her son Derek James.
Born on
May 2, 1954
in Olney, he was the son of Dorothy J. Rosen and her companion Bo Ryan of York, PA., and the late George William Sidler.
Tom enjoyed fishing and hunting and had recently obtained his degree as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
Also surviving is a son George B. Sidler of
Florida
. One sister Georgia Carol Kronenberg and husband Bob of Maui, HI. Niece Jennifer Pelfey and husband John of Mt. Airy; Great niece and nephew Jordan and Jake Pelfey of Mt. Airy; Niece Dorothy Hurley and fiancé Nezam Mojarrod; Great niece Olivia Hurley; Nephew Tony Hurley and wife Rachel of Massachusetts., and great nieces and nephew Mattie, Jordan and Zeke also of Massachusetts. He was preceded in death by his brother and sister in law John C. and Sharon Sidler, and nephew Tim Hurley.
Memorial services will be held at 1:00pm on Friday June 11, 2010, at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 8 East Ridgeville Blvd., Mt. Airy. The Reverend Dennis Yocum will officiate. Interment will be private in Pine Grove Cemetery, Mt. Airy.
