George Seward

George David Seward (Pappy), 72, of Frederick,MD passed away unexpectedly Friday, March 3, 2017 at the Frederick Memorial Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Connie Marie Jacobs Seward for 46 years.
Born April 6, 1944 in Jefferson ,MD he was the son of the Bessie Seward of Jefferson and the late George Daniel Seward and the brother of Melvin Seward of Jefferson.
In addition to his wife and mother he is survived by four children Lisa Seward and husband George Jones, David William Seward, George David Seward, Jr. and Ricky Lee Streams, Merle Summers, daughters Virginia Fowler, Heather Costello and Kathy Summers; grandchildren Stacey Fraley, Lisa Jacobs, David Lee Knight; great-grandchildren Dallas Knight, Darius Fraley, Kayden Moten, Kaelyn Moten and special nieces Tonja Lynn Wagner, Mary Alice Seward and Melissa Delawder and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son Richard Joy, Jr. and grandson Thomas Christian Cline.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Friday, March 10, 2017 from 2-4PM and 6-8PM where a funeral service will be held Saturday, March 11 at 11AM.
Interment will follow at Manor Reform Cemetery.
