George Davis, 95, from Olney, Maryland, passed away peacefully March 29, 2024. George was born in 1928 in Great Falls, Maryland. He was the son of the late William John Hamilton Davis and Virginia Lee Kerns Davis.
In 1946, George married the love of his life, Alice Mae Davis, who passed in 1998. George and Mae had 4 sons: Harvey Kisner, George Patrick Davis (Fran Zarr), Tommy Farris Davis (deceased) and Robert Leroy Davis, Sr. (Terri Davis). He was a proud and loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and great-great-grandfather. George was blessed with 6 grandchildren: Noel, Margie, Patti, Patrick, Robbie, and Leo, 12 great- grandchildren: Shawnee, Jesse, James, Jacy, Shannon, Austin, Bella, Allison, Bryan, Hany, Mason and Charlie, and 2 great-great-grandchildren: Jaxon and Grey, as well as many nieces, nephews and far too many friends to name.
George was the Head Mechanic for Rockmont Chevorlet for almost 50 years. The Rockville Moose was a huge part of George’s life, as he served as Governor and many other positions over the years.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent in George’s name to The Rockville Moose, 13755 Travilah Rd, Rockville, MD 20850.
