George Daniels Casto III, 41, of Frederick, MD, beloved son, brother, uncle and friend passed away peacefully August 5, 2023 at home.
George was born January 7, 1982 to loving parents George D and Kathryn Casto (nee Disney) in Rockville, MD.
He graduated from Governor Thomas Johnson High School in 2000 and from Utah State University in 2006 with a bachelor's degree in horticulture with a concentration in plants and soils.
George learned his love of landscaping at an early age from his Dad. His Mom also taught him to play golf young. He had his dream job as a golf course superintendent and worked at various country clubs in the area over his career.
He was an avid fan of the Washington Redskins until recently and a fourth generation Baltimore Orioles fan. George enjoyed participating in fantasy football. He was in several leagues with his friends. He enjoyed golfing and spending time with his buddies at IL Forno's. George was a very kind and loving person and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Surviving are his mother Kathryn D Casto, brother Kevin R Sebastian (Helena), sisters Kimberly A. Williams (Jason) and Karen C Hoover (William). George is also survived by his five nephews Jason Williams Jr (Shannon), Jake Williams (Kayla), Kevin R Sebastian Jr, Adrian K Hoover, Louis C Hoover and one niece Gabriella I Sebastian.
George was predeceased by his father George D Casto III, his four grandparents George K and Helen J Casto and Robert W and Alice I Disney. He was also predeceased by his two dogs, that he loved so much, Thayne and Bogey.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, August 14, 2023 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1811 Latham Dr, Frederick, MD. The family will receive friends from 10am-12pm, followed by the service and internment at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens, Frederick MD.
