George Anthony Bolton, 71, died peacefully with his family by his side on Wednesday October 24, 2012 at FMH “Palliative Care 2-C Unit”. He was the husband of Sally Keller Bolton for 48 years.
Born October 8, 1941 in Chicago, IL he was the son of William Ernest Bolton and Mary-Lee Roberts Johnson Bolton. At the time of his retirement George worked as Eastern Division Technical Manager-Tremco Inc. a division of B.F. Goodrich/RPM. George Graduated from Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, where he received his B.A. Degree. He went on to Thunderbird School of International Business in Phoenix, AZ where he received his Masters Degree in Foreign Trade. Upon retirement he enjoyed time with his family, golfing, fishing and trips to Florida. He was a lifetime member of the Elks and enjoyed “fooling around” with his 1957 Willys Jeep. George was also a long time member of Glade Valley Golf Club.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his beloved children, Mary Bolton Ball of Walkersville, MD and George Anthony Bolton, Jr. of Taneytown, MD, his grandchildren Katilyn Marie Ball, Dylan Eugene Ball and Mary’s fiancé Darin Blevins. He is also survived by his brother William J. Bolton and his wife Nancy Neal Bolton of Venice, FL.
Honoring George’s wishes, he was cremated. All other services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
