Gene Gilbertson
June 16, 1949 — July 17, 2016
Mr. Gene R. Gilbertson, 67 of Myersville, MD passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2016 at the Kline Hospice House. He was the husband of Jackie Gilbertson.
Born June 16, 1949 in Fargo, North Dakota he was the son of Walter and Inez Gilbertson.
Gene served in the United States Air Force from 1967-1971.
Gene graduated Magna Cum Laude from California State University-Northridge with a Bachelor of Science Degree. He was President and CEO at Legal & General America. He previously worked in audit, tax and various financial positions with KPMG, Marriott Corporation, GEICO and Legal & General America. He has 30 years experience in the industry.
In addition to his loving wife Jackie he is survived by his three children, Russell, Justin and Kelley.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, July 22nd at 3:00pm at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick with Rev.Tim May officiating.
Inurnment will be at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery.
