Gary Young

Mr. Gary Alan Young, 68 of Walkersville went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at his home surrounded by his loved ones.

Born July 23, 1946 he was the youngest child of the late Alva E. Young and Ida Keeney Young Ramsburg.

He was a 1964 graduate of Walkersville High School and worked 38 years for Shriner Mfg. and Hartz & Co.

He was truly a gentleman of many talents and interest and was loved by many.

He is survived by Joyce Young, who was his sister, caretaker and best friend, lifelong friend, Jim Gregg, a sister, Cleo Myers and husband Roger, a sister, Linda Warnock, two brothers, Gene Young and Guy Young, brother-in- law, Rex Mann, sister-in-law, Carrie Young, special cousin and caregiver Bonnie Snyder, cousins, Peggy Eyler, Butch Eyler and friends, Margaret DiPaolo, Sandy Brandt and John Trout.

He will also be remembered by his numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends.

He is preceded in death by a brother, Buck Young, sister, Patsy Mann and step father, Earl Ramsburg.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 9 ^th at 11:00am at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 40 Fulton Ave., Walkersville with Pastor Samuel Garrett officiating. The family will be present to receive friends one hour prior to service time.

Interment will be in Union Chapel Cemetery.
