Gary Nalley, Sr.

October 3, 1941 — February 11, 2013

Gary Lee Nalley, Sr., 71, of Boonsboro, Maryland, passed from this life while surround by his family on Monday, February 11, 2013 at his home.

Born on October 3, 1941, in Boonsboro, he was the son of the late Howard Nalley and Leah C. (Kline) Nalley Stine.
Gary attended the Boonsboro Schools.  He was employed with R.F. Kline, Inc. in Hagerstown.
He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Squadron #10 in Boonsboro, the Sons of Amvets at Post #38 in Falling Waters, West Virginia, and the Improved Order of Red Men Tribe #84 in Williamsport, Maryland.
Gary loved to play practical jokes and he enjoyed the outdoors.  He mostly loved playing cards with his buddies at the Boonsboro American Legion.
He is survived by his wife, Judy A. (Ebersole) Nalley; two sons, Gary L. Nalley, Jr. and wife Judy of Boonsboro, and Michael D. Nalley and wife Letitia of Hagerstown; one brother, William Nalley and wife Sharon of Hagerstown; and five grandchildren, Jerid Nalley and wife Jessica of Knoxville, Maryland, Bret Nalley and Amber Nalley, both of Boonsboro, Misty Nalley and Tara Nalley, both of Hagerstown.  He is also survived by three great grandchildren, Blake Nalley, Avery Ferguson, and Aspen Nalley all of Knoxville.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Amos Stine, III.
The family will gather with friends to share and celebrate Gary's life journey beginning at 2 p.m. on Sunday, February 24, 2013 at the Clopper-Michael American Legion Post 10, 710 North Main Street in Boonsboro.
