Gary Kelley, Jr.

Mr. Gary Kelley, Jr., 40, of Charles Town, died on Friday, August 10, 2018, at Winchester Medical Center. He was the husband of Connie Kelley (Kavesky).

Born April 13, 1978 in Silver Spring, MD, he was the son of Gary Kelley, Sr. of Fairfield, PA, and the late Katherine Ethel Kelley (Meese).

Gary was known as a bright soul, with a big heart and easy laugh. He rarely left a place and left without making new friends. He loved golfing and music.

Surviving in addition to his wife and father are his step-daughter, Karin Wyks of Highlands Ranch, Colorado; two sisters, Kara Whirls of Frederick, MD and Shauna Kelley of Pasadena, MD and their spouses and children; his grandfather, John Meese of Silver Spring, MD and a myriad of friends that counted him as family.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, August 16, 2018 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 18, also at Stauffer Funeral Home. A wake will immediately follow the service.

Friends are welcome to join the family in wearing touches of blue and orange Saturday to honor Gary’s love of the Florida Gators. Interment will be private.
