Frederick Reed, III

Mr. Frederick A. Reed, III, 72, of Monrovia, died Tuesday, December 16, 2013.
He is survived by his wife Carol, children Freddy, IV (Missy), Kenny, Billy, Michael, Cathy and Pat Reed, grandchildren Frederick V. Kortney and Karli Reed, Sisters Janet Martin, Margaret Robinson, Cathy Young and Patty Ann Reed. He was preceded in death by sisters Betty Pifer and Joan Cregger.
Fred retired, after 38 years, as store manager for Safeway and then worked for Rattlewood Golf Course. He will be known for his good humor, wit and practical jokes.
A celebration of life, with remembrances, will be held at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD, Saturday, December 21, at 7:00pm. Friends may visit with the family from 6:00pm until service time.
Interment private.
