Frederick Gray

Frederick Wayne Gray, 76, of Germantown, passed from this life on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at Potomac Valley Nursing Center in Rockville. He was the husband of Eleanor Candaffio. Born on April 13, 1943, he was the son of James William Gray and Dora Edith (Leasure) Gray.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by children: David Gray and wife Andrea, Kimberly Gray Fitzgerald and husband Mike, Corey Gray and wife Stephanie, Shane Gray and wife Cheryl; step-children: Chris Candaffio and wife Christina, Mari Blankenship, Joseph Candaffio and wife Megan. 16 grand-children and two great-grandchildren. He was also expecting two great-grandchildren in the fall. In addition to his parents and siblings, he was preceded in death by wife Shirley Ann Gray.
The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the staff of JSSA Hospice Care for the support they provided.
The family will receive friends on Monday, September 23, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Stauffer Funeral Home, 8 East Ridgeville Boulevard, Mt. Airy. A celebration of life will be held at a later time.
