Frederick Bond

Mr. Frederick E. Bond, 64 of York Springs, PA passed away Sunday, April 24 at his home. He was the husband of the late Margaret J. “Hybienski ” Bond.

Born on August 11, 1946 in Clarksburg, WV he was the son of the late Robert Lee and Leola Byrd Van Horn Bond.

Frederick proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He worked as a Network Engineer for AAC, where he retired in 2008. Mr. Bond really enjoyed wood working and building things. He also enjoyed gardening, fishing, going to the beach and loved spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his companion Pattilynn Mullenhour; 2 children Kristan Allison and husband Robert of Frederick and Walter Bond and wife Jenny of Blue Springs, MO; grandchildren Ian Bond, Danielle Bond and Jack Allison; brothers and sisters Robert Bond, Eleanor Hanford, Eric Bond, Kay Van Voorhees, Zack Bond, Jackie Wadsworth and Jessica Boyajian. He will also be remembered by Patti’s son Jeffrey and wife Nikki of Fredericksburg, VA and their children Moira, Cora and Aela.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 27, from 7-9 PM at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD where services will be held on Thursday, April 28 at 11 AM. Rev. Tim May will officiate. Interment will follow at Glade cemetery.
