Mr. Freddie Carlton Mowell, 65, of Hagerstown died on Sunday, December 21, 2008, at Washington County Hospital, Hagerstown.
Born on July 31, 1943, in Olney, MD, he was the son of the late Dedrick William and Leonia Watson Mowell. He was a truck driver and a member of the OWLS Club. Mr. Mowell had a passion for collecting antique automobiles.
Surviving are 4 children: Freddie C. Mowell, II, Shane C. Welsh Mowell, Sherise Welsh Mowell and Steven Welsh Mowell; 4 grandchildren, and 2 sisters.

The family will receive friends from 1-3 PM on Friday, December 26, at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick where a memorial service will begin at 3:00 PM with Rev. Lloyd Fuss officiating.
Interment will be private.
