Freda Tucker

Freda E. Tucker, 91, of Boonsboro, Maryland, passed from this life on Monday, August 17, 2020 at her home.  She was the wife of the late Clyde Tucker.

Born on February 20, 1929, in , she was the daughter of the late Harvey Edgar Houpt and Esta Mae (McCauley) Houpt.

Freda retired from A&P after 30 years of service. In her spare time she enjoyed cooking and baking.

She is survived by her sister Louise Hoffman of Beaver Creek; two step sons Wayne Tucker and Russell Tucker and numerous nieces and nephews.  She will also be remembered by her special caretaker Rachel.

She was preceded in death by her sister Dorothy Stouffer; brothers, Harold Houpt, Merle Houpt and Roger Houpt; stepson Jerry Tucker.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, August 21, 2020 at Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike in Boonsboro, Maryland.

A celebration of Freda's life journey will take place at 10:00 am on Saturday, August 22, 2020, at Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike in Boonsboro, Maryland.  Rev. Mark Curran will officiate.

Interment will be at Beaver Creek Cemetery in  Hagerstown, Maryland.
