Franklin "Butch" Dixon IV

Franklin Eugene “Butch” Dixon IV, 32, of Brunswick, Maryland, passed away on April 5, 2018. Born on October 9, 1985, he was the son of Franklin Eugene Dixon III and Esther Baker. Butch worked with his father at Dixon and Son Concrete Company, their family owned business.

In addition to his parents, Butch is survived by his grandparents, Pat and Brenda Rooney; his aunts and uncles, Candi Dixon, James Baker, Daniel Baker, Sharon Foote and Melissa Lee; numerous cousins; many friends; and lifelong best friends, Travis Keeney, Ricky Corbin, Danielle Foster Miller and David Brown.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Franklin Eugene Dixon Jr., Barbara Baker; aunts, uncles and cousins.

Anyone who knew Butch loved him. He was known for his big heart and kind soul. He loved trucks, mud bogs, tractor pull and going four wheeling. He had a love for animals and missed his favorite cat whiskers, and now they are together again. Butch will be deeply missed by many.

The family will receive friends from 5-8pm on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1100 N. Maple Avenue, Brunswick, Maryland 21716. A Celebration of his life will be held at 11am on Thursday, April 12th at the funeral home. The family will continue his celebration following the service at the Steadman-Keenan Post 96, Brunswick American Legion, 18 S. Maple Avenue, Brunswick, MD 21716.
