Franklin Carpenter, Jr.

Franklin E. "Frankie" Carpenter, Jr. , 66, of Frederick, passed from this life on Wednesday, April 29, 2020 at his home. He was the loving husband of Debbie for 44 years.
Born on June 16, 1953, in Washington, DC, he was the son of the late Franklin E., Sr. and Jean A. (Caniford) Carpenter.
Frankie was a retired firefighter and Master truck mechanic who enjoyed fishing and boating on the bay. He enjoyed day trips to Pennsylvania with his cousins Mike and Linda. Frankie loved Nascar legend Dale Earnhardt Sr. and his son Dale Earnhardt Jr. and was a Redskins fan. He was a talented woodworker and was a jack of all trades.
In addition to his wife, Debbie, he was the loving father to Jennifer Garner and her husband, Jimmy, Stephanie Carpenter and wife, Tanya Filkins and Mathew Carpenter; grandfather to Kirsten Carpenter, Brenden Garner, Dylan Filkins-Carpenter; great-grandfather to Riley Carpenter, and Lennox Dyer.
Frank was preceded in death by his great-grandson, Finnegan Edward.
