Franklin Blank Sr.

Franklin Milton Blank Sr., 70, of Frederick, MD, passed away unexpectedly on March 23, 2018. He was the husband of almost 51 years, to Margaret Ellen Blank.
Born on April 21, 1947, in Frederick, he was the son of the late Francis and Nellie Blank. He was retired from Food Pro in Frederick.
In addition to his wife Margaret, he is survived by his sons, Franklin Milton Blank Jr. of Libertytown and Timothy Eugene Blank of Frederick; grandchildren, Holly, Brittany, Sheila, Shelly, Tyler and Kody Blank; his sisters, Mary Harding and Barbara Portner; great-grandchildren, Kyliah, Duane and Jay’lynn Adams, and Connor and Carter Walter; numerous nieces and nephews. He will also be deeply missed by his beloved friend, his poodle, Midnight.
He is preceded in death by his three brothers.
The family will receive friends from 2-4pm and 6-8pm, on Monday, April 2, 2018 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD 21702. The funeral service will be held at 10am on Tuesday, April 3rd at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
