Frank C. Turner

Frank C. Turner, 77, of New Market, Maryland, passed from this life on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at Frederick Health Hospital in Frederick, MD. He was the beloved husband of Kathleen Turner for 12 years.

Born on October 31, 1947, in Washington, D.C. he was the son of the late Clifford Alton and Ethel Louise (Goldberg) Turner.Frank graduated from Robert E. Peary High School in 1965. Upon graduating from high school, Frank volunteered for the service. He was a Proud Veteran of the US Air Force, specializing in radio communications. He served from 1965 - 1969, including a tour in Vietnam. One of his great joys in life was to watch his daughter’s, and later his grandchildren’s, sporting events, traveling far and wide for games and tournaments to cheer them on. And like any true Maryland native, loved going out for steamed crabs. His favorite beer to drink while picking crabs was Stella Artois. Frank was employed as a fire protection Sprinkler Fitter, enjoyed fishing, and 60s music.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters Elizabeth L. (Jeff) Hubble of Brunswick, MD and Jill M. (Jessie) Williams of Emmitsburg, MD and grandchildren Chelsea Hubble, Dalton Williams, and Brooke Williams.

Step children , Tom Hayden , Michael Hayden and Laura Chusakul. As well as step grandchildren , Kyleigh Stone, Carley, McDaniel, Elizabeth Boone, Amanda Pruett, and Natalie Raynor. Sister Doris Howell (Bill), of Mt. Airy, MD, nieces and nephews Debbie Coale, TinaArchibald, Lisa Lowe, Scott Howell, John Howell, and their families. Aunt Elizabeth "Betty" Springirth of Lusby, MD.

He will be remembered by long-time dear friends Ernie and Priscilla Meza of Manteca, CA.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Thursday, March 20, 2025, and 10-11 am on Friday, March 21 at Stauffer Funeral Homes, P.A. (Fred), 1621 Opossumtown Pike in Frederick, MD where a celebration of Frank's life will take place at 11 am on Friday, March 21, 2025. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Frederick, MD.

A gathering afterwards will be held at Brewers Alley 124 N. Market St., Frederick, MD. 21701
