Frank Lewis

Mr. Frank Edwin Lewis, 66, of Thurmont, MD (formerly of Potomac) passed away Thursday, April 14, 2011 at the Frederick Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Barbara Kennedy Lewis.
Born April 21, 1944 in Bethesda, MD, he was the son of the late Charles and Evelyn Mullican Lewis. Mr. Lewis was a past member of the Isaac Walton League, Potomac. He worked in the Montgomery County area for many years. Frank was an avid hunter, fisherman and enjoyed trap shooting.
In addition to his wife he is survived by two children Constance Smith of Hagerstown and Frank E. Lewis, Jr. of Thurmont, grandchildren Nicole Custead, Samantha Custead and Cayla Landesberg, siblings Jeanette Rodgers, Barbara Nicholson, twin sisiter Frances Ruch, Ray Lewis and Gary Lewis. Many nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by his siblings Charles Lewis, Donald Lewis, Joan Ruch, Patricia Orr and Edward Lewis.
A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, April 20, at 11:00 am from the Lewistown United Methodist Church, 11032 Hessong Bridge Road, Thurmont, MD with Rev. Elza Hurst officiating.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Lewistown U. M. Church at the above address.
